The project page
A project's overview — header, key figures, the client's brand card, AI drafts and all tools in groups — and how you switch between the tools.
When you tap a project in the project list, its overview opens. From here you reach every tool of the project; inside a tool, Overview brings you back here.
The header
1 Project type, status and client. 2 Project number, period, size of the team and number of roles. 3 Edit package and Edit. 4 The four key figures.
What the period is called depends on the kind of project: Shoot for a video production, Month for ongoing support and own content, Period for a single job. The Edit package is there as soon as the project has scenes — it brings scenes, takes and notes into the edit (see Edit package). Edit is shown to anyone with the Edit projects right (see Editing a project).
The four key figures:
While the figures are still loading, a placeholder stands there — never a zero that looks like a fact.
Brand card and AI drafts
If the project has a client, their brand card stands below the key figures: colours, typefaces and whether a brand guideline exists. Whoever may edit the project maintains it here. Below it, the AI drafts box collects what an AI assistant suggests for this project — you accept or discard each draft (see AI drafts).
The tools
The tools in numbered groups, as they belong together in the project. Each tile says what it holds — such as the number of days, scenes or people — or how much is still open.
| Group | Tools |
|---|---|
| General | Briefing, Shooting days, Stripboard, Calendar, DOOD (who is on which shooting day), Team, My notifications |
| Creative | Screenplay, Shot list, Storyboard, Moodboard, Media pool |
| Production | Scenes, Locations, Roles, Casting |
| Design | Looks, Props, Equipment |
| Organisation | Call sheets, Tasks, Daily reports, Sound reports, Times |
| Finance | Budget, Contracts |
| Other | Catering, Completeness |
| Delivery | Delivery, Content plan |
You only see the tools that are switched on in the project and that you have the read right for. A tile with a padlock is not part of the account's package: tapping it shows the package that contains it. A tile with a crossed-out cloud needs a connection and is not available offline. If a tile shows open or, for tasks, unassigned, it tells you what someone still has to do or take on.
Switching between the tools
1 Overview leads back to the project page. 2 The tool's name opens the menu with all tools by group. 3 The arrows jump to the previous and the next tool.
The chosen tool stands in the page's address: a bookmark or a link opens the project exactly there.
What happens when …
| When … | then … |
|---|---|
| a tool is switched off | its tile is missing. Switch it on under Editing a project — nothing that was in it is lost. |
| you lack the read right for a tool | its tile is missing; for the team everything stays as it is. |
| you tap a tile with a padlock | ModiFax shows the package that contains the tool. |
| you are offline | the tools whose data is on the device open; the others say they need a connection. |
