Call sheets

The day's call sheet per shooting day — take it over from the shooting day, schedule, scenes, cast and crew calls, logistics and safety, edit it together live, publish, distribute to cast and crew, confirm the call time and get it as a PDF.

The call sheet tells every person when they have to be where: schedule, scenes, calls, meeting point, hospital, weather. There is one per shooting day. You see the tab with the read right for call sheets.

The list

1 One row per shooting day with day, date, location and call, the newest shooting day first. 2 The status. 3 Export them all downloads every call sheet as a PDF.

A call sheet's status is Draft, In progress, Live or Published.

New call sheet

New call sheet creates call sheets for one or several shooting days at once. Times, place, scenes, cast and crew come from the shooting day; if crew call, shooting start or wrap are still missing there, the app tells you to enter them in the shooting day first. If every shooting day already has a call sheet, there is nothing left to create.

The call sheet in detail

1 The day's schedule. 2 Scenes and Cast calls. 3 Crew calls by department. 4 Status & distribution.

Schedulesection
The day's events in order: preparation, crew call, shoot, delay, break, magic hour, wrap. Edit the schedule adds or removes events.
Scenessection
The day's scenes with page length and roles.
Cast callssection
Per role the times for call, make-up, costume and set.
Crew callssection
Per department the call time and the crew members.
Logisticssection
Meeting point, Set address, the nearest Hospital with its distance, the Emergency on site with name and phone, the Safety officer with name and role, plus Notes and the weather.
Equipment · specialsection
The day's special equipment, one entry per line.
Next shooting daysection
What is coming up on the next shooting day in the plan — the next by date, not the next day number.

Every section has a pencil button of its own, such as Edit the schedule or Edit the cast calls. Under Linked, the day and date lead to the call sheet's shooting day.

Take over from shooting day replaces times, place, scenes, cast and crew with the shooting day's current state — your own changes to them are lost, so the app asks first. When several people work on a call sheet at the same time, Live editing in progress stands at the top with the number of the others; every change appears for everyone at once.

Publishing and distributing

1 The recipients from cast & crew. 2 Further recipients. 3 Subject and message. 4 The channels E-mail · PDF, in-app and push.

Publishing makes the call sheet visible to the team. Distribute the call sheet sends it to cast and crew as a PDF by e-mail, in the app and as a push. Every distributed edition stays as a version, with the number of recipients; the sidebar lists them under Versions, and from five editions on All versions shows the whole list. The History tab records who changed a section when, and every step of the status. Under Status & distribution you see per person whether they have Read the call sheet and Confirmed their call time — the person confirms with Confirm call time. Call sheet PDF downloads it at any time.
