A shooting day in detail

The day view of a shooting day — scenes, the day's run, team calls, looks, costs, weather, call sheet and open tasks — and its tabs from tasks to the media library.

Tapping a shooting day in the list opens its day view. Everything about this one day comes together here. At the top stand date, day number, status and location, plus Edit, Duplicate and Delete (see Shooting days). Below, you see the day's notes and, under What this day is missing, the open items — a tap jumps to the place where you fix them.

The overview

1 Scenes today in the day's order. 2 The day's run from crew call to wrap. The day's other cards follow below.

Scenes todaycard
The day's scenes with number, pages and location. Link a scene brings a scene of the project onto this day — if it already lies on another one, it moves here. While the day is still empty, Add the first scene stands there.
The day's runcard
Crew call, shooting start, breaks, scenes and wrap as a timeline, with the time until the next entry. You add an event of your own — a transfer, a set change, a stunt rehearsal — with time, name and kind; it has to lie between crew call and wrap.
Team callscard
The heads of department with their own call times. All the calls opens the whole list.
Looks todaycard
Costume, hair and make-up for the day's scenes.
What this shooting day costscard
Read from the project's budget; nothing is entered here. Attributable to this day stands on its own with its total. What runs over several days stands below with the full amount and is deliberately not split across single days.
Weathercard
The forecast for the shooting location, fetched once a day; Refresh the weather data fetches it again. If the day is still too far off, the card shows A preview from last year: the values measured on the same day the year before. Without a location with coordinates there is no weather; Assign a location fixes that. If several locations lie on the day, you switch with the arrows.
Day call sheetcard
Whether the call sheet for the day has been created or published and how much crew is on it. If it is missing, you create it here.
Open taskscard
The day's tasks, with done and total.

The day's run

1 The Time. 2 The Label, for example "Transfer to the location". 3 The Category: call, prep, start, break, milestone, wrap or other.

The times from crew call to wrap come from the shooting day itself; the scenes line up in their order. Tap one of your own events to change or delete it.

The tabs

Besides the overview, the shooting day has tabs of its own. You see the ones you have the read right for and whose tool is switched on in the project.

1 The key figures of the team on set. 2 Crew by department, per department who is there and who is missing. 3 Assign schedules people from the project team; while nobody is scheduled yet, the button reads Put the team together.

Taskstab
All tasks attached to this shooting day.
Rolestab
Which actors are on set today — derived from the roles in the day's scenes, with their calls.
Makeup callstab
Per actor their own times for make-up, costume and readiness on set, with First call and Longest preparation. Calculated from the roles' looks — without looks there are no calls.
Teamtab
Crew in total, Confirmed, Early call, the departments and Cast on set. Put the team together opens Assign the team to the shooting day: you choose from the members of the project team, Core or Day hire. If someone is already scheduled elsewhere on the same day, a double booking warning appears. You create new people in the project team, not here.
Equipment, Propstab
What is needed on this day, with its state.
Cateringtab
The orders for the day. An order always belongs to a shooting day and to one of that day's locations.
Daily report, Sound reporttab
The day's reports — create, fill in, complete.
Timestab
The working hours the team recorded on this day.
Media librarytab
The day's folder in the project's media pool — the same folders, only narrowed down to this day.
