Roles

A project's roles — from lead role to extra, cast from the team, portrayal as a person or a digital double, the role's scenes, shooting days and looks, the cast list and loading roles from a series.

A role is a character in the story. It has a number, a kind and the person who plays it. The scenes it appears in determine on which shooting days it is needed. You see the tab with the read right for roles.

The list

1 Roles in total, cast and still to cast — a tap on a figure filters the list. 2 The search by role or actor. 3 Per role number, name, kind and who plays it.

A role's kind is Lead role, Supporting role, Day player, Featured extra or Extra. Cast list downloads all roles with their casting as a CSV file. Load from series takes over roles from other episodes of the same series — without casting and scenes.

New role

Add role asks for Role name, Role number and kind, plus the Portrayal: a Person, a Digital double or a Synthetic figure. A digital double needs the signed AI consent of the person cast; if it is missing, the completeness check shows it as an open item.

Casting

1 Pick talent from the project's team — the cast group stands at the top. 2 Anyone not yet in the cast also gets the "Cast" position.

Casting draws on the project's team. If nobody is on the team yet, you create people in the team or accept applications in the casting. Whoever is cast and not yet in the cast also gets the "Cast" position; their main job, shooting days and rights stay. Change casts the role anew.
