Editing a project
Change a project's name, details, client logins, tools and standard signatures — everything is saved automatically.
Everything you set when creating the project, you change on one page. There is no save button: every change applies as soon as you leave the field.
Getting to the edit page
1 Tap Edit in the project's overview. The card's menu in the project list offers the same way.
The button is shown to whoever holds the right Edit projects.
Changing the details
The same fields as when creating it: name, type, client, period, client total, project image, description and departments.
Client logins
Client logins lists the people who see the project in the client portal — progress, deliveries and payment status. Add takes an existing contact or yourself; with the field below it you invite a new address. A project of the kind Own content is made for your own company: it has no client, no client logins and no invitation.
Exactly one login may host: it publishes the project's videos on its streaming service. Its account needs a Studio subscription for that. The other logins see the project but publish nothing.
Switching tools on and off
1 One switch per tool. What you switch off disappears from the project — for everyone on the team.
Switching off deletes nothing: if you switch a tool back on, everything that was in it is still there.
Standard signatures
At the very bottom you choose the documents everyone on the team automatically receives to sign — such as a consent form or a non-disclosure agreement from the account's contract templates. For minors, their legal guardians sign.
What happens if …
| If … | then … |
|---|---|
| you switch a tool off | its tab disappears for everyone in the project; nothing is deleted. |
| the plan does not include a tool | it carries Upgrade and cannot be switched on. One that is already on you can still switch off — but not back on afterwards. |
| you are offline | the change is saved and sent as soon as you are back online. |
| you remove a client login | the person stops seeing the project in the client portal at once. |
