Sound reports
One sound report per shooting day — sound roll, format and timecode, every recording with slate, take, file and kind, circled takes, room tone, notes and the handover to the edit.
The sound report records which file belongs to which set-up. Without it, the edit only has file names. There is one per shooting day; it is written in the shooting day under Sound report. The project's Sound reports tab shows all reports together.
1 Sound roll, format and Timecode. 2 The Recordings. 3 Hand over to the edit.

If the room tone is missing, the report points it out: it is the only recording that cannot be made up later. Hand over completes the report and names who handed it over; Reopen makes it editable again.
What happens when …
| When … | then … |
|---|---|
| no room tone is recorded | the report shows a note. |
| you circle a take | it stands in the report as the recommendation to the edit. |
| you hand the report over | it is completed; Reopen allows corrections. |
| a shooting day is deleted | its sound report goes with it. |
