Locations

A project's shooting locations — create them with kind and address, status from scouting to confirmation, map, features, logistics, scouting reports with ratings, scenes and shooting days at the place, and the contract.

A location is a place to shoot: a studio, a flat, a hall, a street. It carries everything the team needs to know about the place, from the power supply to the neighbours. You see the tab with the read right for locations.

The list

1 How many locations there are, how many are confirmed and how many shooting days lie on them. 2 The filters by status. 3 One row per location.

A location is Being scouted, Negotiating, Confirmed or Cancelled. Its kind is Studio, Practical location, Backlot or Green screen.

New location

New location asks for name, kind, status and address. As you type, the address suggests real addresses, and on saving it is resolved into coordinates — the map, the route and the weather on the shooting day need them. Contact person and Daily rental come with it.

Create contract creates the rental contract for the location with its details already filled in (see Contracts).

Scouting reports

1 Scouted on and the Overall rating. 2 The Recommendation. 3 Pros and cons, one per line.

After a visit, Create report records the impression. The recommendation is Recommended, With reservations or Not recommended. Photos of the visit land in the media pool under Scouting reports. A report can also be created offline and goes out as soon as you are back online.
