Calendar in the project
A project's calendar — its appointments and shooting days in the same views as the big calendar, only narrowed down to this project.
The Calendar tab shows only what belongs to this project: the project appointments, the shooting days and the briefing's milestones with a date. It is the same calendar as under Calendar in the sidebar — with day, work week, week, month and agenda, with dragging to move and Ctrl + drag to copy.
A project's week: appointments as blocks, shooting days as a continuous bar above the hours.
A New appointment from this tab belongs to the project from the start; everyone on the project's team sees it. Everything about appointments, guests from outside and online meetings is under Calendar.
What happens when …
| When … | then … |
|---|---|
| you create an appointment here | it belongs to the project and, if you like, invites groups and people from the team. |
| a milestone in the briefing gets a date | it stands in the project's calendar. |
| you move a shooting day | it stands in the calendar on the new date. |
| you lack the create calendar right | you can see the appointments but not create project appointments. |
Stripboard
The classic film stripboard — spread scenes as strips across the shooting days, reorder, split, plan moves and breaks, have a shooting order proposed and get the schedule as a PDF.
DOOD
Day out of Days — who is needed on which shooting day, as a table of roles and shooting days, built automatically from the schedule, with the usual codes and as a PDF.
