Tasks
A project's tasks as a board by status or department — create them with deadline, owner, priority, shooting day, scene, checklist and dependencies, move and complete them.
Tasks record what has to be done by whom and by when: the filming permit, the rehearsal, the order with the rental company. You see the tab with the read right for tasks; under Tasks in the sidebar the tasks of all projects stand together.
The board
1 Open, done and due today. 2 The columns by Status or by Department. 3 One card per task with deadline, owner and priority.
The columns by status are To do, In progress, done and Not needed. Drag a card into another column to change its status or its department; without a mouse you open the task and choose the status there. Overdue and High priority stand on the card.
New task
1 Title and description. 2 Responsible and Department. 3 Priority and Due on. 4 Shooting day and scene.
Save as a template also keeps the task as a template for later projects. The opened task adds:
Tasks also come from other places: a client request, a delivery that is to be changed, or a post in the content plan. Then it says where they come from.
What happens when …
| When … | then … |
|---|---|
| you give a task to a person | they get a notification and see the task among their tasks. |
| a deadline passes | the task stands as overdue. |
| a task waits for another and is meant to lie before it | the app reports a Date conflict and names both. |
| a shooting day is deleted | its tasks stay but lose the link to the day. |
| you are offline | you create tasks and tick them off; the changes go out as soon as you are back online. |
