The calendar at a glance

Every appointment in one place — the same calendar in Backstage and Studio. In five views, from a single day to a list.

Backstage and Studio share the same calendar. It shows everything coming up in time: appointments you created and appointments you are invited to. In Backstage, the appointments of the projects whose team you are on and those projects' shooting days come on top; there, every account you work in stands in one calendar — a project appointment, though, always belongs to its project and therefore to that project's account. In Studio, the open appointment requests from your website come on top: they stand in the grid for viewing only, so no time is given away twice; a request is confirmed under Inquiries.

To the calendar

1 In Backstage, tap Calendar in the sidebar under Planning. In Studio, Calendar is in the sidebar under Overview.

The week view

1 Today jumps back to the current day. 2 The arrows page one week back or forward. 3 This is where you choose the view. 4 New appointment creates an appointment.

Next to the page title you see which period is on screen. Every appointment stands as a block at its time, in the colour of its category. All-day and multi-day appointments run as one bar above the hours, and so do your projects' shooting days. A padlock marks a private appointment, two arrows an appointment of a series. An appointment that is still To confirm is drawn dashed: a request through your booking link that you confirm, or an appointment with guests from outside none of whom has accepted yet.

How you work right in the calendar:

Tapappointment
Opens the appointment's details: when, where, who, the answers and everything you can do with it (see Creating and editing appointments).
Dragwith the mouse
Moves the appointment to another time or another day. For an appointment of a series, the calendar asks whether you mean this one or the whole series.
Ctrl + dragwith the mouse
Places a copy at the new spot — always as a single appointment, even if the original belongs to a series.
Ctrl + C, then Ctrl + Vkeyboard
Copies the selected appointment; then point at a day with the mouse and paste it there with Ctrl + V.
Ctrl + Zkeyboard
Takes back the last move; Ctrl + Shift + Z (or Ctrl + Y) restores it.

On the right of the toolbar you also find the Default reminder, the Calendar subscription, Share calendar and Offer appointments. If someone has opened their calendar to you, you choose next to them whose calendar you see. All of this is under Sharing, offering appointments, subscription.

The views

The choice of views. On a wide screen they stand side by side as tabs.

Dayview
A single day, hour by hour.
Work weekview
Monday to Friday.
Weekview
Monday to Sunday.
Monthview
The whole month as a grid, multi-day appointments as bars. If not all appointments fit into a day, it says how many more there are.
Agendaview
A list of the appointments from the chosen day on. Load more appointments adds the following weeks.

The chosen view is in the page address: a bookmark or a shared link opens the calendar exactly like this again.

Month

The month with a multi-day appointment as one continuous bar.

Agenda

The coming appointments as a list — the view for on the go.

On a phone

On a phone there are Day, Month and Agenda — the screen is too narrow for a whole week. Tap a day in the month and it opens as a list: its rows can be hit with a finger, the narrow bars of the month cannot.

What happens if …

If …then …
