Notifications
The bell, the ways per topic, a project with settings of its own and who learns what.
Notifications come into the app's bell, by e-mail, as push to your devices and — where set up — by WhatsApp. The bell keeps everything. Which ways come on top, you set per topic in your profile; a single project can differ.
The bell
1 The number on the bell counts what you have not read yet.
A click opens the list. An entry leads to what it is about — if it belongs to another of your accounts, the app switches to that account.
1 Important only shows only what asks something of you or is urgent; the number on the bell then counts only that. The bell itself keeps everything, and this device remembers the choice.
The same message as an e-mail. Its link opens the place in the right account.
The ways per topic
Under My profile → Notifications you choose the ways per topic. 2 E-mail on or off. 3 How often the e-mail comes.
Instead of single e-mails a digest comes, if you like. The bell still tells you at once.
Quiet hours and the setting per event are there as well: My profile → Notifications. Security notices and invoices always come by e-mail.
A project with settings of its own
1 In a project, What reaches you here leads to the settings for this project only.
1 Switch something here, 2 and it holds for this project only. 3 Resetting takes the setting from your profile again.
Who learns what
- Only who may see what it is about: people of the account, on the project team and with the permission for the area.
- Whoever causes something gets no message about it — except for security and invoices.
- Notifications are not lost when the servers restart, and they come exactly once.
What happens when …
